Yeah there's not really any "midnight sun" visual here. I'm just in the mood to name a deviation after *gasp* AN AFI SONG 8D

Actually if you wanna get technical... following Emberhowl lore, Kaz is the vessel of the Phoenix which in all cultures that mentioned the bird it was always associated with the Sun, and the bird in Emberhowl was born of sunfire. And the Wolf originally had the power to help maintain the cycle of night and day with it's howl, with a strong connection to the Moon. And then dark forces come into play and stuff gets screwy. But I won't get into that. Point is, the Phoenix is a bird that supposively "dies" at sunset and "revives" at sunrise. I don't use that concept of ancient mythology but I do relate to it in that the Phoenix can't traverse the darkness of night. But embodied in a wolf -- it's like a midnight sun. 8D

This image is kinda sorta just a play-around thing. The character itself is going to be used for my journal header (when I get around to messing with my layout) with transparency. Background was something random. Not trying to impress anyone with this, it's supposed to be a journal header, and that's it. X)
